Not only does he come through with a set that stands with the best of the Fabriclive series, but he does so with a selection of entirely new and unreleased material. Time and again Snaith hits the sweet spot between pure dancefloor goodness and electronic experimentalism that has become the signature of his Daphni project. Kicking off proceedings with the infectious minimal disco of single ‘Face to Face’, the proceeding 70+ minutes take in everything from psychedelic noise techno (the edit of Container’s ‘Dissolve’) to halcyon-glow garage (‘Strange Bird’) to whirring electronica (‘Poly’). What a treat.
