Bristolian producer Facta debuts on Berceuse Heroique sublabel Ancient Monarchy, continuing label boss Gizmo’s love affair with the sounds of the city. Cutting his teeth crafting dubstep and UK garage influenced cuts (no surprise there), the producer creates an EBM influenced acid bubble bath on ‘Sweet Sixteen’ and abstract bassweight on title track ‘Something’s Gotta Happen’. Fellow Bristol producer October (previously on Skudge and No Corner) provides a stripped back techno remix on the B2. Prime late night rave material from a label that’s been on the ball since their inception.
