Incredible collection of spacey electronics and meditative soundscapes dating from the early 60s to the late 80s here, lovingly assembled by the Soul Jazz team. From the kraut-ambient of JB Banfi to the yearning drones of Michael Stearns, the electroacoustic wizardry of Tod Dockstader to the playful keyboard work of Beverley Glenn-Copeland, this comp has it all if you like your music deep. Big names such as Iasos and Laurie Spiegel feature, but even if you think yourself a bit of a nerd in this field, there are some lesser known pearls to be found (Carl Matthews!).
