Luke Calzonetti returns to Parisian imprint In Paradisum with his third album under the Run Dust moniker, and it fits right in with the twisted sounds of label mates Low Jack and Mondkopf. From the press release we can deduce that Calzonetti is a busy man, in transit between Germany and the States whilst playing in grindcore jazz bands and modelling for fashion companies. An interesting trajectory, he evidently takes his solo music production seriously as well - the slow-mo hypnotic acid of ‘Distant Bloods’ sitting perfectly next to the psychedelic sound palette of ‘Jokichi’.
