Izabel Caligiore shares an intriguing and highly personal sounding body of work from British avant musician GP Hall for the sixth release on her LFI label. Hall’s introspective guitar playing and minimalistic soundscapes are guaranteed to entrance and delight in equal measure, described by the man himself as ‘industrial sound sculptures’. A real departure from his background crafting large ensemble pieces! For anyone not yet familiar with the previous LFI releases we wholeheartedly recommend giving them a look, especially the sampler comp ‘Turn On, Tune In’ for a great look into their ethos.
