Canadian based artist and ordained reverend Marco D’Andrea takes us on his own personal journey through his italo-canadian childhood in an attempt to draw the inner most hypnotism from his father’s psych rock records and his own creative practice. Sound interesting? The result is beguiling, and we’re left wondering just how much of the content is indeed sourced from those crackly old hippy albums. Taken at face value, the soundscapes are fairly typical drone affairs with occasional moments of glory (‘Daugher’). The back story may entice but thankfully the music is of equal merit!
