Coil and Psychic TV member Drew McDowall is one of Britain’s most important yet often overlooked avant-garde musicians of all time. Hugely influential in his past group projects, Dais founder Ryan Martin approached McDowall to bring his singular expertise to the solo album, allowing him full creative freedom and scope for radical experimentation. Released in 2015, ‘Collapse’ did not disappoint. For Unnatural Channel, McDowall goes deeper into his own psyche and offers up seven compositions which are as unnerving and terrifying as they are captivating (we had to play part two of the title track over and over!!)
