WRWTFWW follow on from their Midori Takada reissue with this gnarly soundtrack work to the 1988 ‘zombie-ploitation’ film Zombi 3. Directed by Lucio Fulci and Bruno Mattei, the plot basically revolves around a zombie apocalypse and a small group of survivors attempting to find peace and solitude. The soundtrack itself is a weird hybrid of jazz-rock, horror synth, ‘erotic funk’ and typical swooping cinematic atmospheres. Having not seen the film we’re basically taking the soundtrack on face value, but the industrial sounding pieces like ‘Sequence III’ are HEAVY! Nice and varied LP here for all kinds of different moods.
