Electric Deluxe (JK Flesh, Terence Fixmer) drop their third release from Clouds. HTID: Heaven-Sent Tekno Impakting Dancefloors, Or Hardcore Till I Die is a record that lives up to its amazing title. The tracks here lean into the same revivalist hardcore sound of Special Request, but the fact that they also bring some of the broiling futurism of contemporary artists like Total Freedom and Endgame updates them for the present day. Pounding techno numbers like ‘Base Damage’ and ‘Dinner At Skinja’s’ recall Nicolas Bougaieff. Elsewhere there is a cool mutated breaks feel to ‘Fallout’ and ‘Quest Posse Wanted’.
