Undoubtedly of the best new bands to channel that 80s darkwave sound, the duo known as The KVB return with a new EP on Invada. Minimal and pulsating electronics blend with shoegaze stylings and a spectral twinge that feels not too dissimilar to the Ghost Box crew. Haunting yet fierce, their take on the mutant pop sound of the 80s manages to avoid pastiche. Released as some form of teaser for their forthcoming album, the EP features remixes of Fixation and White Walls from Invada, Mark Reeder and TVAM (digital only).
