Modern day ambient lords Nash and Kraft join forces to present an album of collaborative pieces on Nash’s own Melody As Truth label. If you’ve heard any of the releases on the label before then you know the drill, calm and introspective music for all the early morning risers. Though Nash and Kraft both harbour a distinct identity within their own compositions, this album feels pretty harmonious and it’s hard to really tell who did what. Not that we’re complaining, as it’s as good as anything the pair have done previously. We’re especially digging ‘Small Town’ – total John Martyn ‘Small Hours’ vibes. Maybe a tribute?
