Helm debuts on Trilogy Tapes with a four tracker of Olympic-sized experiments with live instrumentation that come awash with field recordings to give it that unique East London ambience.

Much like the early TTT classic 'Systems Of Chaos' by Andrew Coltrane, Helm's debut for Will Bankhead's underground institution is loaded up with fresh stacks of noise. Calling on the talents of one Valentina Magaletti for drumming duties, 'World In Action' turns its attentions to free-form jazz as an utterly psychedelic form of improvised electronica.

From the swirling jazz licks of 'Blue Scene' (think Raime's Tooth put through a blender), the casio tone bleep techno mutation 'Candy', the dank industrial nightmare of title track 'World In Action' and the undersea Olympic Mess aquatics of 'After Dark'. Helm has turned in a 12" that will turn any notion you may have of 'experimental' music on its head, and in doing so has cemented it by far the best TTT for quite some time.
