Brooklyn based multimedia artist Roberto Carlos Lange drops this special revamped edition of his Private Energy LP on cult favourites RVNG. The label reivsts their wild ride through this fascinating individual’s musical creations and the various influences we can hear along the way. ‘Transmission Listen’ has the bedroom funk charm of Dwight Sykes whilst ‘Runaround’ crafts a more reductive, sparse arrangement that places emphasis on Lange’s beautiful and world-weary vocal talents.
