Strange and intoxicated oddball electro jams here from Minneapolis based Ghostly International signee Psymun. With two of the three tracks clocking in at 55bpm it’s safe to say that Psymun is operating in unfamiliar territory to most, eschewing the hip-hop and house go-to’s for a far more sparse and psychedelic affair. Closing track ‘Confetti’ is a percussive heavy, ‘aquatic’ jam that makes us think back to Rustie’s ‘aquacrunk’ adventures of the mid 2000s. The aptly titled ‘Glitch Tundra’ is seven minute echoed out journey featuring Chester Watson touching mic. Ghostly yet again prove their ability to turn their hands to a wide variety of electronic music and find sure-fire winners along the way.
