A split release from two budding electronic composers here, with Kilchhofer tackling the first side before passing the baton to Hainbach for the second. There is, however, a unified aural aesthetic that means Acosta functions nicely as a whole. Both artists draw water from the wells of techno, Balearic house and electroacoustic composition without committing to any one sound in particular. They prefer instead to craft broad, quixotic tracks that draw you in with their playfulness and originality.
