Parisien electronic tastemakers du jour Antinote celebrate their fifth birthday with this lovingly curated compilation. Five Years of Loving Notes brings forward work by new additions to the Antinote roster - Stephane Laporte, for instance - as well as the likes of IUEKE who was responsible for ATN001 back in 2012. The compilation does a fine job in showcasing all sides of the Antinote sound. Contributions from IUEKE and Tolouse Low Trax are throbbing almost-techno cuts, with keys and kits whirring away amid washes of strange sound. Elsewhere there are several cute ambient works and some lovely synth-based rhumbas from Domenique Dumont and Nico Motte.
