I-LP-O IN DUB aka Ilpo Väisänen returns to Editions Mego for a further lesson in skeletal dub that works as an audio counterpoint to Karl Marx’s Capital, CAPITAL DUB, CHAPTER 1.

Opening with a recording taken from an afternoon of heavy rain in Barcelona, CAPITAL DUB, CHAPTER 1 quickly delves into the criss-cross formations that make up Ilpo's unique sound. Stripping the beats and rhythm to their very essence, there are echoes of his sublime Liima Versions 10"s and of course his work as part of the legendary Pan Sonic with the sadly deceased Mika Vainio (RIP), yet the subs recall the early dubstep nights down at FWD with a bone-rattling intensity.
