Recorded between 1983 and 1985, the tracks on Phantoms of Dreamland burrow deep into Michal's only commercially released entry, the frightfully hard to get a hold of Music From The Living Room album, released on the short-lived but quietly influential Shout label.

Also, there are a wealth of unreleased, archival tracks that move between synth minimalism and balearic tropical structures that cross the DNA of producers and groups such as John Bender and early TG with the pop rooted sensibility of artists such as Mariah and Lena Platonos.
