The masked man responsible for a string of fierce white label techno 12”s debuts on music machine company Elektron’s in house label. Think what The Blue Nile did for Linn Drum, except the output is nothing like TBN at all. Joining heavyweights Plaid, Silent Servant and The Bug, William Youngman readies three cuts produced using his trusty Octatrack. Opening jam ‘Hollowed’ is a skippy, industrial esque track whilst ‘Weeping Willow’ brings the atmosphere to an even slower, spookier pace. In fine style, the closing track ‘Gallows’ brings to mind that loop heavy Millsian sound of the late 1990s.
