Weschel Garland selects DJ Koze and Lawrence to tease apart and re-imagine tracks from his 'Easy' LP that was released earlier this year by Karaoke Kalk. Koze offers up two contrasting mixes - on 'Mutes' he transforms the deadpan vocals of Max Ernst's TBA into a deep and shimmering slow techno track while his version of 'Swim' (Feat. Sonig's Niobe) is left largely untreated aside from a selection of finely placed cutups. Lawrence provides two versions of 'Be Baby' that both combine the rich instrumental source material with his trademark warm production techniques and dusty beats.
