Harpist Mary Lattimore may be better known for her work with Thurston Moore and Kurt Vile, but her accomplished solo releases have also gained her many admirers and releases on Thrill Jockey and Ghostly International. The latter now presents a new collection of six sprawling, emotive pieces. Based around her vibrant and stirring harp playing, Lattimore also incorporates choirs, electronics and studio trickery to lend the album a wonderful sense of stuerm und drang.
