Varg, Loke Rahbek and Frederik Valentin of Kyo's collaborative album Brazil gets the widely craved vinyl treatment following a four CS boxset that disappeared in a flash upon its original release back in 2016.
While all three are figureheads of Scandinavian electronics, Brazil, as far as we can tell is the first time that they have joined forces as a trio to unleash the snowstorm of frosty electronica, summer ambiance and of course industrial strength drones that characterize each of the solo material. While the influence of Sandwell District, Sahko etc. reigns strong, Brazil is a snapshot of three truly single-minded artists operating within a field that is so rich in cinematic detail you'd be forgiven for thinking you have to pay an entry fee everytime they let you see into it.
"Things were somehow so good that they were in danger of becoming very bad because what is fully mature is very close to rotting."
