The London-based dance music power house Lobster Theremin represses the debut album on sub-label Mörk, and they’re not holding back. Spread across three LPs, Cranks is a collection of ‘deep, heady club excursions’ from the L.A. based producer Grant. Dreamscapes are woven by hazy synth melodies and tried and tested dusty drum machine patterns demand attention and keep the pace. Though Cranks is but one of what must now be hundreds of LT distributed releases (AND totals 11 tracks) it’s a pretty solid body of work that could fit into all sorts of DJ’s record bags.
