Based in Washington DC, 1432R take an abstract approach to dance music and, since 2014, have built up an eclectic archive of left of the mainstream electronic music. Now, label heads Zem SuYung and Sami join forces to present their debut EP as Sami%SuYung. Well-rounded melodies and clunk and chunk basslines make ‘Free Time’ and ‘Be Kind’ solid DJ tools, while ‘Light Touch’ and ‘Do it Up’ go a little more leftfield.
