Ilian Tape turn ten with a triple 12" compilation showing the full breadth of the immersive breakbeat techno that over the past decade, the Zenker Brothers have made entirely their own.

Having been rolling the beats since 2007, Dario & Marco Zenker both solo and in tandem have been at the forefront of a very unique and refreshing sound within techno. Despite their shared discographies taking entries for highly lauded labels such as 50 Weapons, Tresor, Time To Express, The Trilogy Tapes & Frozen Border the Zenker Brothers have always kept the deadliest productions for their s independent and always head turning, speaker blowing Ilian Tape imprint.

Clocking up over 60 releases over the past decade, what is most impressive about Ilian Tape is the range of artists who having debuted on the label have gone on to become staples within the collections, bags and USBs of some of the biggest DJs within the scene to the specialist record shop counter fiends journeying to their destination of choice every Saturday morning in hunt of the hardest and freshest sounds.

Possibly key to the Ilian Tape success is the mixture of ambient dub techno textures with raw looped breakbeats and raw, cutting edge in every sense drums. This mixture of sounds and styles has often been attempted by many but rarely executed in such a tidy fashion. Calling on the labels core crew; Skee Mask, Stenny, Andrés Zacco, Andrea through to Struction, Rupcy, Regen, Roger 23 & a suprise, but fitting appearance from Shed under his Seelow guise.
