First time on vinyl for these obscure recordings from the Palace of Lights affiliate, originally released on tape back in 1983, Music Works for Industry is a collection of avant-synth pop, industrial leaning electronics and drifting abstract sound portraits. The new Freedom to Spend label, run by Pete Swanson and Jed Bindeman, boasts this vinyl edition as their second reissue venture following the most excellent Eye Chant by Michele Musser. One of the best reissues of this vein so far this year. Highest of recommendations for fans of K. Leimer, Cluster etc!
