On the white-label sampler nthng put out six months prior to It Never Ends, In My Dreams and Soms were voraciously devoured by fans eager for hood-down, woozy techno. Though out via the ever-excellent Lobster Theremin, there was more than a whiff of Skull Disco (R.I.P.) to the way the cuts seemed to reach out to the listener before retreating into a haze of reverb. There was ice at the heart of these tracks, and they set the tone for IT NEVER ENDS aptly. One glance at the titles - ‘It Never Ends’, ‘Abyss’, ‘Galaxy’ - should tell you that this is a record with a sense of its own vastness and profundity. Expect great swells of sound, with synths billowing and smoking over the kick drums. However, there is light amid the darkness - ‘Unity’ edges toward euphoric acid, while ‘Galaxy’ is nimble and sprightly tech-house.
