Glasgow via London imprint Night School return with a much needed vinyl issue of Swedish singer songwriter Molly Nilsson’s second album. Self released on her Dark Skies Association, Follow the Light is a heartfelt and nostalgia-tinged piece of pure pop music, guaranteed to put a smile on your face while we see through the rest of the winter. Think Leonard Cohen meets The Knife, or a slightly less minimalistic Carla dal Forno. Limited vinyl edition comes housed in a wonderful sleeve, the black and white patterns reminding us of avant-garde legend Jon Gibson’s ‘Visitations’ LP.
