Interesting ‘first real album’ from Homeboy Sandman, break-neck speed hip-hop laden with intriguing samples. Kicking off with ‘Sosa’s Crossroads’, a dusty flamenco style skit, Sandman then wastes no time in getting down to business. In the man’s own words; “All I wanted was for everything to be ill”. Recommended for fans of his previous work on Stones Throw as well as all contemporary hip-hop devotees.
