Thank God for BBE. Really, religious or not, these guys have been blessing us with some of the best reissues in the funk and soul world for years now. The latest in their catalogue is this obscure library LP by Paz, partly funded by the British Arts Council back in the early 80s. Though they happen to share names with our friends' massage business, rest assured that this particular Paz will rub you up in all the right places, time and time again at no extra cost. Paz Are Back is the type of album which encourages repeated plays to really get to grips with, a mind-expanding journey through latin motifs and jazz-funk extremities. Listen to ‘Horrors’ and tell us this isn’t one of the best reissues of the month.
