Aguayo not only brought DJ Mujava’s right-hand-man DJ Spoko to his Comeme label, he went into the studio with him. The result is this four-track curio joining the dots between Jo’burg township funk (the title track), wiggly synth workouts (‘Ghost of Dombolo’ and ‘Taxi Rank’) and super-sexy house (‘Something About the Groove’). The way the two play off each other makes both for four uninhibited dancefloor cuts and one of those rare records that both heads and novices will fawn over.
