Stone cold classic in the making from Touch, Transpandorem is the latest long player from David Knight and Stephen Thrower's UnicaZürn. Six tracks of drifting ice-breaker drone and fractured industrial that recalls both of the duo's solo excavations with Cyclobe, Shirley Collins & Coil.

Drifting off into the netherworld, one cosmic dab at a time, Transpandorem carries itself high in both the hidden reverse of Coil, NWW and Current 93, while also carving out a strong soundtrack heavy element that literally drips with a psychedelic blur that glows in the album's darker moments.

Like a blender of post-punk and industrial fed through the mind of Seefeel's Too Pure output, but if they had drifted more in the direction of doom than shoegaze and you are somewhat close to what we have here, yet still way off the mark.
