Mumdance and Logos dish out the much anticipated second volume of their Weightless series, showcasing the more noise endz of the collective with ruffneck zingers from Shapednoise, FiS & more traditional neon-grime stripes from themselves, Yamaneko, Inkke & Sharp Veins.

Having clocked some serious miles since vol. 1 turned the Wot Do U Call It? crew onto some proper flamers from the new wave grime underground (as well as their sick collab with Rabit, Mumdance and Logos called on Murlo, Strict Face & Dark0 to set the pace for the years to come). Here they return three years and three singles later with a fresh batch of highlights from their recent and late contender for 2016's best mix in Present Different Circles.

Where Volume 1 steered towards the collectives admiration for the sounds of 2002's finest (check Murlo's Geist for the best bassline this side of its influence and all round influential banger Creeper by Danny Weed) This second chapter delves into the labels penchants for the more noise rooted structures that often pop up in Mumdance and Logos's genre defying DJ sets.

Opening up with the team captains ambient opus Cafe Del Mar, the swirling synths and submerged binary kicks echoing the joint work they have undertaken with Shapednoise as The Sprawl. Next up Shapednoise drops some propa shock treatment deployment with a sort of sounds how we imagine like T2 liquid metal would make if it were being slowly (and very loudly!) ripped apart, before ending the fist half is Yamaneko's glass like dub melancholy of Shadow Temple.

Moving back into the midst of the chaos, FiS turns in a sick steppin' half temp DNB number with Angels Of The Water Table, moving back to his very earliest poison dart steppers for Exit and Samurai Horo while adding a touch of tough techno to the mix. Following sharply onwards LuckyMe's Inkke turns in a bouncin' bassline banger while Sharp Veins ends things with his rubbery reverse roll of Already Bones, closing another vital inclusion to the hardcore continuum and possibly the best entry from the label yet.
