Polkadot superfans Strawberry Switchblade found chart success in the mid-80s with their jangly indie and synth pop, shortly before splitting over a feud. This demo is the precursor to their first album – recorded in 1982 when there were still four in the band – and features 'Trees and Flowers' and 'Go Away' which made it to the debut. Remastered and restored by Sean Pennycook from the original cassette, it contains a booklet of photographs and writings from The Pastels' Stephen Pastel.
