Four track EP from the Ukrainian glitch producer Andriy Vezdenko, previewing the best of what’s to come on his debut LP Apeiron. For those unfamiliar, CPU is a Sheffield based label championing abstract and digitally manipulated computer music, previously releasing Morphology, DMX Krew and B12 among others. As they cite, White Silence is essentially IDM but with a distinct hip-hop influence which makes it ‘immeasurably more addictive and pleasing’. Check the A2 track ‘Fear’ for some deep space nine cranium readjustment. Recommended for fans of Warp, The Flashbulb, musique concrete etc.
