Kraut inspired psych jams from Italy’s Julie’s Haircut, sounding part Expo 70, part Cosmic Jokers. Hypnotic grooves and tight-as-fuck rolling percussion with keys to make any horror fanatic squeal. Album opener ‘Zukunft’ is a real gem, bringing to mind the long-form freak outs the likes of Al Doum & The Faryd’s are currently championing. Shorter tracks such as ‘Cycles’ have a tinge of UK acid folk about them but are delivered with a contemporary spin. Top stuff for any fans of 90s alt rock or prime time psychedelic mantras!
