Shackleton teams up with Vengeance Tenfold for Sferic Ghost Transmits, the first new material from the duo since 2012's Music For The Quiet Hour.

Containing six tracks of deliciously spine-tingling, yet rhythmically chilling concoctions, they club together to form some of the finest multifunctional Skull Disco heavy tracks since they first came face to face for SKULL009. Utilising their different strengths, Vengeance Tenfold's slowly unfurling vocal licks that delves deep into the swirling realms of soundsystem culture from which Shackleton first came.

Continuing on from his Coil-indebted Devotional Songs (recorded with vocalist Ernesto Tomasini, and the combined Powerplant live show that is truly unmissable) Shackleton's sound returns strongly to the graveside of his Bleep:10 hitter Ganda Rising. Continuing to down a whole batch of the freshly picked teeth-chattering psychedelics that cast such a vast shadow across Ganda's vast soundscapes. The six tracks that make up Sferic Ghost Transmits further cement Shackleton as one of the most incredibly skilled producers around. Whilst the ghosts of drum & bass and early grime percussion ring strong, the album's influences from early industrial and funk-riddled post-punk has a lot to answer for. While it is so closely connected with these sounds and styles, in Shack's hands they turn inwards and dig deep into the urban jungle, yet one that is not so concrete.

Dragging up the bones of their soundboy punishment bangers The Rope Tightens.. & Death Is Not Final, Vengeance turns his gaze away from the viewpoint of a DMZ mic man towards a more John Balance (RIP) style haunted chanting.
