Bruce first appeared on the scene in 2014 with the Not Stochastic EP on Hessle Audio. Now a Hessle regular, he’s since released on Idle Hands and Timedance; always showcasing his deep, moody and thoughtful take on bass-led electronica. HEK027 is the first Bruce EP on UK techno and dark bass masters, Hemlock Recordings. Blunt, percussive, dark and minimal, this is prime Hemlock material and showing Bruce at his finest. The pace slowly builds through the 3 tracks, from the slow, eerie creeper ‘Before you Sleep’ to the muted drums and techno bounce of ‘Sweat’.
