New South London label Shapes of Rhythm debut with a joint EP from two of the founding members. Body Moves floats along somewhere between the lines of Dilla esque boom bap and Auntie Flo style ‘world’ beats, the latter notion being channelled particularly strongly in ‘Himba’, which got an airing from Gilles Peterson on BBC6 Music. Built in the classic hip-hop tradition, the two artists utilised a stack of old LP’s and a small scale home studio to produce these four tracks.
