A rare solo release from Martin Clark aka Blackdown, better known as part of Blackdown and Dusk. The second 12” in Keysound’s Rollage sub-series, this EP is based around a short mobile phone recording from a Keysound Sessions club night in 2015. True to style, both for the label and artist, Rollage Vol 2 goes deep and dank. Echoes of dubstep, jump-up and crispy 2-step garage. Each version of the Sessions Anthem, particularly the original mix, with its crackling MC samples, reeks of a smoke-filled basement, a stack of sub-woofers and a hyped up freestyle session.
