A fresh sounding EP on Bristol label Idle Hands, courtesy of Dublin’s deep tech and house producer, Lerosa. A rich history of deep house and techno releases on the likes of Osgut Ton and D1 Recordings, and recent flirtations with more melodic synths, like his most recent EP for Slow Motion Recordings, Lerosa’s huge discography has a distinctive deepness throughout. Subcouture EP is no exception. From the shuffling drum patterns of ‘Maryelen’ to the moody keys of ‘Scruffy’, the EP is tied together with the sub-woofer sound of Bristol and a tight, deep, flawless production which could only be Lerosa.
