Interesting atmospherics recorded in Canada via NYC and L.A, courtesy of the intriguing and inspiring Letta. Battling homelessness, addiction and violence for over fifteen years, the US born producer takes us on a sonic trip through both the darkest and lightest periods of his life. Despite operating within the contemporary grime/hip-hop beat scene, this feels more along the lines of Burial or that recent Yves Tumor album that was so well received. Yet another example of beatsmiths channelling introspective and glitch based ambient textures on the side.
