Dark Entries continue the brilliant work they have done of reissuing the crucial electronic and disco work of Patrick Cowley, and Candida Cosmica could possibly be the most crucial release from his archive yet. Produced in collaboration with the adult film star Candida Royalle, Candida Cosmica is an escalading journey of visionary cosmic exoeriments.

There are moments that recall John Baker or Delia Derbyshire while others echo the psychedelic synth soundtracks of the Czech new wave, bitten down with a strong (unknown if they were actually) influence of Throbbing Gristle. It's a truly beautiful package with extensive linear notes in the booklet and also can act as the perfect doorway in to the world of Cowley in his more adavnt-garde daze.
