Three new slow burning techno pieces from Sandwell District affiliate Rrose, a mysterious producer who emerged back in 2011 and is responsible for one of the biggest club records of recent times (Waterfall). The EP kicks off in an ambient fashion, but after a minute or so the drum patterns and mutated synth work creep in and reaffirm our initial suspicion. Flip to the B side and we have two equally out-there jams, ‘Specimen 2’ and ‘Specimen 3’ sounding not too dissimilar to Milton Bradley’s Alien Rain records. Top shelf techno for the club DJ’s.
