Blackest Ever Black present the first live recording (before the trainspotters mumble, this is minus an unspeakably rare Regis cassette!) with Mick Hobbs Officer! performing for the first time in 25 years, recorded live at the BEB's five years event at the ICA in 2015.

Performing classics from the Dead Unique album, and some material from the legendary Flaming Tunes (of which Hobbs played on) Never Mind The Bucket gives a new lease of life to the much-cherished material while adding an all-star line-up of performers to help bring the sounds to life. Guest performers include Flaming Tunes’ Mary Currie and Joey Stack who play a heart-rendering versions of FT classics The Best Weapon and Beguiling The Hours and the Officer! classic Elephant Flowers.

Much like the work of Robyn Hitchcock, David Chatton Barker or Coil, the music of Officer! occupies a uniquely eccentric and alluringly view into music that is quite unlike anything that came before.
