Returning to what many feel was his golden era of production, Bad Vibes: Rarities + Extras is a nine track collection of b-sides, demos and outtakes produced around the time of Bad Vibes’ release back in 2011. In the years since, Shlohmo has gone on to collaborate with Tory Lanez, Lil Yachty, How To Dress Well and Banks, these tracks recall a simpler, more intimate time for the producer. ‘Empty Pools’ feels like sunshine beaming down on the world, with barely a breeze in the air. Field recordings are neatly chopped into tracks, between light guitar licks and lullaby percussion. A perfect way to begin or end your day.
