New ILA from Ben Pest, heavy on the 303...

New thunderous, old school style acid house on I Love Acid, the tb303 loving sub-label of Posthuman’s Balkan Vinyl. Four tracks ranging from Donato Dozzy channelling ambiance (check the start of ‘Positive Legs’) to jungle/breakbeat fan indulging ‘More Than a Test’, this new addition to the series from Ben Pest has an acid jam for everyone, even if you thought the sound was overplayed. Pest joins the likes of Luke Vibert, Perseus Traxx, Andreas Gehm (R.I.P) and Jerome Hill. It’s interesting that the 303 is still being used all these decades later, not deviating massively from the original path carved by Phuture et al but still having the same effect on dance floors worldwide.
