New experimental techno excursions on Powell’s label Diagonal, courtesy of Roc Cisneros and his endless list of collaborators (or maybe this one was just him?). Self described as computer musicfor hooligans, it’s easy to see the relationship with 90s acid techno and gabber, but Evol take the blueprint and distort it to fit the modern paradigm. The group havepreviously released on Mego, Alku debuted on Diagonal with last year’s Flapper That. Right Frankfurt is a two part, 24 minute battle with the auditory sense, and if you enjoy easy music it’s probably not for you.
