Traditional Siddi folk music crosses paths with jazz and electronics on Sarathy Korwar’s debut album Day to Day, and the project was met with praise from Giles Peterson, Four Tet et al. Now, three months on, Ninja Tune have commissioned special remixes from Tenderlonious, Photay and Emanative. Affiliated with Yoruba, Astronautico and Brownswood respectively, the label couldn’t have picked a more perfect trio to reconstruct eastern atmospheres the original recordings conjure up.
