Currently based in Lisbon, the experimental musician Vasco Alves’ prime concern with this release lie in the investigation of unstable electronics in relation to radio signals. Using two sine waves as his basis for sound creation, Alves pans the sound between two transistor radios. The processes are often volatile and have a distinct focus on live manipulation techniques. What he comes up with as an end production are uncompromising walls of sound which have a totally raw feel to them.
